AAH-VOL Add-an-Amp and Retain Factory Radio in Volvo

Are you looking to add some punch to an under-performing Volvo factory Sound system?
One of the best things you can do to improve the factory audio system is to replace the speakers and add a Subwoofer. Most factory speakers are made of paper cone with foam surround that deteriorate over time. Aftermarket speakers include rubber surround and better cone material that last longer and sound much better. Retaining the factory Radio while adding a dedicated subwoofer amp requires a special harness.
With the AAH-VOL harness you can install any aftermarket amps while retaining the factory radio.
Compatible with any Volvo factory radio with this 6-pin DIN "AMP" connector. (i.e. HU-555, 601, 603, 611, 613, 615, 650, 750, 801, 803, 850 as well as older SC-710, 810, 811, 813, 815, 816, 900, 901 etc).
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the radio and connect the 6-pin DIN Male plug to the radio connector labeled "AAMP".
2. Connect the blue wire to the aftermarket amplifier turn-on lead.
3. Connect the RCA's to the inputs on the aftermarket amplifier. (RCA extension cables are required)

If the vehicle has a factory amp system (i.e. SC900, SC901 etc) you will need the AAH-VOL2 harness to retain the amp and add an aftermarket amp.
