The AUDI/AUX DMX V.1B Audio Input adapter converts the CD Changer port on select 1998-08 Audi/VW Group Radios to an "AUX" port. By using the CD Changer port, the best possible sound quality is delivered from the audio device to the radio via two RCA's (Left and Right) inputs. If necessary use our 3.5-RCA6MM or iS335 cables to convert devices equipped with headphone jacks (i.e. iPod, Sat Radio, Walkman etc.) ] to RCA. Have a blast the next time you drive to work, home or wherever your travels may take you.
Compatibility & Notes: [ Please read all requirements before purchasing this part ]
1. Compatible with 1998-08 Audi listed in pull-down menu below with a Concert, Concert II, Symphony, Symphony II (6-disc in-dash) Radio and 1998-08 Beetle.
2. Connects to the 20-pin connector at the radio. (Radio Removal tools required.)
3. The AUDI/AUX DMX V.1B emulates an external CD Changer. If you have a remotely mounted CD Changer and/or Satellite Radio it must be disconnected.
4. Not compatible with factory Navigation or MMI (Multi Media Interface) Radios.
