The AUDI/M-LINK1 V.1B Audi adapter for iPod™ delivers CD quality sound directly into the factory sound system via the CD changer port and all the controls on the iPod™ also work so selection of Playlist, and any other playback functions can be controlled there. The iPod™ will remain in Direct Mode allowing you to search and select music directly just as you would in portable use. You will have access to all of your Playlist and settings and will also charge the iPod while the radio is on and to prevent battery drain, a built-in timer will automatically stop the charging process 20 minutes after the radio is turned off. The AUDI/M-LINK1 V.1B uses the iPod docking connector as both an audio and power source, limiting the wire bundle, freeing the console of clutter. Installing the AUDI/M-LINK1V.1B is also a simple plug-n-play affair.

» The AUD/M-LINK1V.1B does not interfere with the CD or CD Changer (Symphony or Symphony II) that is built-in the radio.
Compatibility & Notes: [These requirements must be met for this part to work]
1. Compatible with select 1998-08 AUDI model/years listed in the drop-down menu below.
2. Connects to the 20-PIN ISO connector at the radio. [does not fit  the 13-pin cable in trunk or 12-pin connector in glovebox ]
3. Compatible with Audi Concert, Concert II, Symphony, Symphony II (6-disc in-dash) radios.[Navigation, XM Radio, MMi are not compatible]
4. Text display and control remains with the iPod. No controls available from the radio buttons.
5. The AUDI/M-LINK1 V.1B emulates a CD Changer--If your vehicle has a CD Changer or factory XM you must disconnect them.

1. Not compatible with factory Navigation or factory Satellite Radio. Audi with MMi require the GW51M02 adapter.
