The USASpec CDL-EXT extension cable is 16 ft. long and exclusive to connecting USASpec iPod adapters/Auxiliary input adapters (i.e PA10-FORD, PA11-FORD, DF-BMW etc) with 8-pin DIN Connectors. The aforementioned USASpec product include a short connecting cable which is not long to reach inside the cabin. Use the CDL-EXT extension cable in Ford, BMW and other vehicles with the factory Changer connectors in the trunk/hatch (i. e. Taurus, sables, BMW etc). This cable is 15 ft. long and can be routed from the trunk to the the dashboard areas in most vehicles.
The CDL-EXT cable is 16 ft long and has an 8-pin DIN Male/Female connectors on the both ends.
