CDR1VW8 CD Changer Retention harness for Gateway in select 1998-06 VW
The CDR1VW8 adapter allows the simultaneous connection of the Ice>Link GATEWAY adapter and the original CD Changer to the Single DIN (2" tall) AM/FM/CD or Cassette OEM (factory) car radio systems. With this adapter installed you can choose to listen to music from iPod, USB and AUX sources or from the Cd's in your existing 6 CD changer in the trunk.(vehicle must have a 6 CD Changer in trunk for this part to work).
The CDR1VW8 is compatible with Gateway Ice>Link 100 & 300 series iPod Adapters (available separately)
Installation/Operating Instructions in English language is included.


1. The 1998-06 VW vehicle must have a Gateway 100 or 300 series iPod adapter plus a CD Changer to be compatible with the CDR1VW8.
2. The CDR1VW8 is not a stand alone device. It must be used with a Dension iPod adapter
