The CHYRVD allows select 2008-12 Chrysler owners to replace the factory radio and retain the Rear Screen and VES DVD. For instances in which the factory radio is replaced, the CHYRVD (in conjunction with Chrysler Radio replacement interfaces C2R-CHY4 (Rev 1.1.4 or higher) or RP4-CH11) can be used to play on an aftermarket Audio/Video Unit.
Compatibility and Notes: (Please read before purchasing this part)
1. The CHYRVD provides Audio/Video output from the factory radio to an aftermarket Audio/Video unit
2. If replacing the factory radio, the CHYRVD provides Audio/Video from the aftermarket DVD Player to the factory overhead LCD monitor (use with C2R-CHY4 or RP4-CH11)
3. Provides factory reverse camera signal (when reverse camera is present)

To replace the factory radio and retain the factory RSE, PAC C2R-CHY4 or RP4-CH11 is required.
