The FORD/CAN M-LINK2 iPod™ interface will let you play, charge, and control iPod™ products directly on select FORD CAN-BUS radios. In addition to iPod products it also allows connection and audio playback of non-iPod devices via the AUX (RCA) input. Once connected, the FORD/CAN M-LINK2 will display Artist name, Song title, Album name, Playlist names etc on the radio screen, and because it connects directly to the radio you get optimal sound quality. The FORD/CAN M-LINK2 will also charge your iPod&trade via the included 4 ft 30-pin dock cable with the option to stow the iPod™ out of sight (i.e glove box) or within reach if you decide to use the iPod click wheel or touch screen to browse the music library.
The FORD/CAN M-LINK2 lets you control the iPod in two modes:
1. Remote Mode: Use the iPod™ clickwheel or touch screen to control and select your music OR
2. Extended Mode: Use the Radio display and controls to select your music

» Control iPod™ playback using the Ford Radio buttons OR the iPod clickwheel/Touch screen.
» Direct audio connection for optimal sound quality
» Steering wheel controls functions (if so equipped)
» Individual search by artist, album, Playlist, or genre.
» Ability to display artist name, song tittle, album tittle, Playlist name
» Single aux input: Connect and play non-iPod devices (i.e. MP3 Player, Sat radio, DVD etc)
» Compatible with all 30-pin iPods & iPhones. Apple's new Lightning connector requires an adapter
» Plug-n-play for quick installation
COMPATIBILITY AND NOTES: [This section will inform you of the specific requirements for your factory radio to be compatible with the FORD/CAN M-LINK2. Not all Factory radios are compatible with the FORD/CAN M-LINK2. The FORD/CAN M-LINK2 will only work on models equipped with the specifications listed below.]
1. The FORD/CAN M-LINK2 is compatible with select 2005-10 Ford CAN-BUS Radios listed in the pull-down menu below.
2. Compatible radios MUST HAVE an "AUX" button and this 16 & 24-PIN connectors.
3. COMPATIBLE in vehicles with FACTORY SATELLITE Radio OR Rear Seat Entertainment/DVD [ you will need to disconnect one if both options are present].
