The LEX/M-LINK1 V.1 iPod adapter is for those of you seeking a simply yet effective way to play and charge iPod products on the Lexus factory Audio System. The LEX/M-LINK1 V.1 also provides the best sound quality because it connects directly to the 12-PIN CD Changer port on the compatible Radio. Once installed, connect your iPod or iPhone, press the "CD" or "MODE" button on the radio and enjoy your favorite tunes through a clean audio connection. Browse through all Playlist and Menus in real time using the iPod click wheel or Touch screen. Use the volume control on the radio to set the listening level. Internet connected iPhones/iPods are able to stream music from popular sites like Spotify, Pandora etc.
The LEX/M-LINK1 V.1 also charges the iPod battery and to prevent battery drain a built-in timer will automatically stop the charging process 20 minutes after the radio (or ignition) is turned off.
