Product Description: The New 3.5-POD adapter cable converts the iPod dock connector into a 3.5mm (headphone) plug. The 3.5-POD adapter cable maintains and transfers digital quality sound from the iPod to any stereo or component with a female 3.5mm jack. Connect and play iPod products on your computer sound card, power speakers, the 3.5mm jack found on many OEM stereos (i.e. 2007 FJ Cruiser, 2007 Silverado, Yukon etc) for a clean audio connection.
The 3.5-POD features an attractive-looking coil cable that is approx. 4.5ft long when fully extended and is ideal for use with OEM (factory) or aftermarket radios that have a built-in, front panel female 3.5mm auxiliary input
jack.
The 3.5-POD is compatible with the following iPods featuring a dock connector:
iPod Nano (1G, 2G, 3G)
iPod touch (1G) released 9/13/2007
iPod Classic (1G) or (80GB & 160GB)
iPod video (5G)
iPod Mini. ( See warning below.)].

1. The 3.5-POD Universal iPod dock to 3.5mm cable is *not* able to charge or control any iPod product.
2. *Not* compatible with Microsoft Zune, Ipod (1G, 2G), iPhone (All), Nano (4G, 5G), Classic (3G or 120GB), Touch (All).
3. The "line level" audio out of the dock connector is "fixed" and can't be controlled using the volume setting on the iPod/iPhone. Only the headphone jack output is controlled by the iPod volume setting. |
