Product Description: Soundgate engineers have devised an interface that takes advantage of the hundreds of thousands of Alpine M-Bus CD changers on the road . The AUXMSTRv3 is an exciting multi-use interface that allows the user to connect up to two auxiliary inputs audio devices to a number of factory and aftermarket radios using Alpine M-BUS protocol.
These are the 3 possible installation options:
1. If you have an existing Alpine M-BUS (i.e CHM-S630) CD Changer connected to your factory radio, you may disconnect it, plug in the AUXMSTRv3 in its place, and turn the connection into an auxiliary input for up to two audio devices. WARNING!! WARNING!! WARNING!! CD changer cannot be retained.
2. Factory radios that are derivative of Alpine’s M-Bus (1992-03 Honda/Acura, 1994-96 Mazda, 1991-00 Volvo, 1992-98 Mercedes, 1996-01 Chrysler, and 1992-97 Jaguars) can also be connected directly to the AUXMSTR for two AUX INs. A Vehicle specific cable (not included) is required.
3. Cars on the market using a CD Changer interface for an Alpine M-BUS Changer (those interfaces from Blitzsafe, PAC, Soundgate, Peripheral and PIE) can now have two AUX inputs simply by connecting the AUXMSTR to the existing Alpine M-BUS interface.
AUXMSTR provides two auxiliary inputs, which are switchable from the radio that AUXMSTR is connected to, via the “random” button. The radio display will show “1 11 1111” during aux use.
