The HON/AUX DMX V.1 audio input adapter is for those of you wanting to connect an audio device to heir Honda radio. This adapter connects to the 14-pin CD Changer port on the back of the radio to provide a clean audio connection. The HON/AUX DMX V.1 delivers the best quality sound directly into the factory sound system via the CD Changer port and eliminates the use of noisy RF or FM modulators. Connecting the HON/AUX DMX V.1 to the factory radio is a quick and easy plug-n-play affair.-- installation steps included.
Compatibility & Notes: [These requirements must be met for this part to work]
1. Compatible with select 1999-2004 Acura (Except RL, SLX, 03 TSX) and select 1999-05 Honda, 1998-02 Accord (not 03 Accord) listed in the pull-down menu. (will not fit unlisted model/year).
2. All compatible radios MUST HAVE AN AVAILABLE 14-PIN connector on the back of the radio.
3. Not compatible with Navigation Radios, in-dash 6-DISC CD CHANGER RADIO or factory DVD.
4. With the HON/AUX DMX V.1 installed an external CD changer (in trunk, under seat, hatch etc) cannot be used at the same time because the adapter takes the place of the CD changer.
