1. Convert size differences between the factory and aftermarket radio:
The BKNN1453B dash Kit is designed, specifically for the 2006-07 Nissan Armada & Titan vehicles, to allow an aftermarket DIN size (2"- tall), two DIN size radios OR a Double DIN (4"-tall) replacement radio to fit into the hole where the factory radio was originally installed.
2- Provide mounting support and/or brackets:
Dash kits are designed with either the brackets already attached or with slots where an assortment of tabs included with the kit can be slid onto the kit and become the mounting brackets.
Once installed the superb texture of the kit will make it virtually disappear in the dash. The BKNN1453B epitomizes seamless installation with a perfect fit and finish.
