Product Description: The question many customers are asking is, How can i use the factory Navigation color LCD Display Screen in my vehicle to play video or as a back up camera display? The answer is a vehicle specific Video interface.
The VCI-NIS1 (Replaces Peripheral PVCI-NIS1) Video interface easily converts the Navigation color LCD screen in select 2004-Up Nissan/Infiniti Car, Trucks and SUV's into a video monitor. The VCINIS1 does not include a back up camera but does have 2 composite video inputs (yellow RCA jack) and switching capabilities (toggle switch included) for selecting normal radio/navigation display, auxiliary video source (DVD player, Game system, etc) and a back up camera. When installing this kit there is no cutting, splicing or soldering of the factory wires/harness. The kit includes a plug and play harness and instructions for easy conversions. Because there are no major modifications done to the vehicle reverting back to the factory configuration is simple!
The VCI-NIS1 connects to the 24-pin port on the back of the factory color LCD Screen.
