Peripherals PXAMG is the first-ever Automotive Media Gateway for numerous Hyundai Radios.. The revolutionary PXAMG OEM Integration Solution seamlessly integrates iPod™, HD Radio™ technology and many other portable media products into the factory audio system—without losing any of the factory features and controls.
Unlike many integration solutions, the PXAMG retains OEM satellite radio, rear-seat entertainment controls and key driver convenience features to deliver a seamless user experience in most vehicles. (See footnotes).
The PXAMG works with the iPhone and all iPod versions that use the standard 30-pin dock connector (Mini, Nano, Touch, Classic, Video, Photo) and provides dual iPod control from either the clickwheel or the factory radio buttons, allowing users to track forward and back for songs and browse by Artist, Playlist, Genre, and Album. If controlled from the radio buttons, this information is displayed on the Radio screen for easy navigation.
Expandable: Add the HDRT HD Radio tuner to receive HD radio stations that can not be received with a standard tuner. The HDRT receives analog and digital HD Radio stations and provides complete control of AM and FM tuning through the factory radio. Unlike Satellite radio, HD Radio has no monthly subscription fees and users enjoy crystal-clear AM and FM reception and expanded content with exciting new formats. The HDRT displays all HD Radio information on the radio screen, as well as the artist and song when broadcast. The total evolution of Peripheral’s next generation PXAMG is the only iPod interface in the world today that integrates completely in the select vehicles listed in this APPLICATION GUIDE.

1. Compatible with the select 2008-09 Hyundai Model/years listed in the application guide that are Satellite Radio Ready. (Must have an "XM" button on radio face)
2. *NOT* compatible with Hyundai Navigation Systems.
3. Vehicles with the SAT tuner built-into the Radio are NOT COMPATIBLE. (SAT tuner must be a separate module to be compatible)
4. Customers running iOS4 software on their iPhones must purchase the PXAMG-IC (sold separately).
