Product Description: What do you do when there is no specific sub-harness for your Bluetooth car kit? Use the UPA-2 sub-harness to connect Bluetooth car kits to select GM and FORD Vehicle specific Bluetooth harnesses. The UPA-2 sub-harness can be used to facilitate installation of any Bluetooth car kit that includes a "MUTE" lead as well as "AUDIO" leads. Each of the 8 leads are labeled to its specific function with a crimp connector on the ends. Although not required for installation, this harness simplifies the installation process.
Installation is simple and straightforward:
1. Connect the 6-pin Molex plug to the 6-pin connector found on the GMCSS2, GMCSS3, FCSS1 and FCSS2 Bluetooth harness.
2. Connect the green wire to ignition (12V)
3. Connect the red wire to battery (12V constant)
4. Connect the orange lead to "Mute" wire from the Bluetooth adapter.
5. Connect the black wire to ground.
6. Connect the 2-pin black plug to the Audio connector found on the vehicle specific harness.

The UPA-2 6-pin Molex plug fits the 6-pin Molex connector on Ford (FCSS1, FCSS2) & GM (GMCSS-2, GMCSS-3) Bluetooth harnesses. It does not fit other application.
