The new iP52CR9 connects select iPods/iPhones to your Dension Gateway. While in the cradle, your iPod will play and continue to charge. Use the iP52CR9 with Dension Aftermarket Gateway iCE Link Lite, 100, 300, 400, 500-Series iPod Adapter Kits only. The iP52CR9 has a 4ft. cable a white 9-pin mini-Din plug on one end and iPod cradle on the other which also charges All iPod/iPhones.
The following iPods/iPhones will fit the iP52CR9 cradle: (read carefully as some iPods require a spacer that is not included)
iPod Classic 160GB, Video 30/80GB (No distance adapter required, just use included rubber pad)
iPod Classic 80/120GB, iPod Video 30GB (use included 2.8mm distance adapter with rubber pad)
iPod Touch (1G, 2G, 3G): Use included distance 3.8mm distance adapter with rubber pad.
iPhone (ALL): No distance adapter or rubber pad is needed.
The iP52CR9 is also compatible with the iPod Nano but a Nano specific insert kit is also required and can be purchased separately.
The iPO52CR9 charges all iPods/iPhone via 5V USB and 12V Firewire it is used with one of the aforementioned Dension Series . (not compatible with other iPod adapters).
