Product Description: The KS-U57 Auxiliary Audio input Cable (by PIE), is a signal Line-In adapter that converts JVC's J-Link CD Changer Port to an Auxiliary input. With the JVC/J-RCA adapter installed you can input the audio from any single audio source such as [DVD, Satellite Radio, X-BOX, Playstation, VHS player, and others] with RCA audio outputs (adapter is required for audio devices without RCA outputs) directly to the select JVC in-dash Receiver with AUXILIARY INPUT OPTION and begin to enjoy the best sound through a clean audio connection.
COMPATIBILITY & NOTES: [ These requirements must be met for this part to work]
1. The KS-U57 (JVC/J-RCA) is compatible with select 2002-Up JVC head units with AUXILIARY INPUT OPTION. Please consult the manual for compatibility with JVC KS-U57/58 adapters.
2. When the KS-U57 (JVC/J-RCA) is used, you cannot connect a CD Changer to the head unit. --- [see our JVC-AUX switcher when CD Changer + Auxiliary input connection are required.

In order for the JVC/J-RCA to work the Radio's J-Link input needs to be set properly. The Radio's manual describes how to turn on the "AUX" or "LINE-IN" mode. [default setting is CD changer]. Failure to enable the "AUX" input function on the radio will result in "No Sound" from the auxiliary device.
