  Product Description:  NEWEST VERSION. Unlike older version offered elsewhere, our offering includes a modified BHA7001 harness.
 Many Mitsubishi/Chrysler import owners want to find an easy way to replace OR upgrade the factory audio systems in their cars. The C2R-MIT (formerly MITAH Mitsubishi add-a-head) is dual function adapter harness that allows replacing the factory "Infinity Radio" with an aftermarket radio OR retention of the factory radio and installation of an aftermarket amplifier and speakers.
Use #1: Replace the OEM (factory) radio and retain the OEM (factory) AMP and Speakers
 - To replace the factory "INFINITY" Radio with a higher quality aftermarket radio and retain the factory AMP/Speakers: Connect the C2R-MIT into the male 6-pin DIN (round) plug that is normally plugged into the OEM (factory) head unit. The BLUE wire on the C2R-MIT is used as the remote turn-on lead for the OEM (factory) amplifier.
Use #2: Retain the factory "INFINITY" radio and replace factory AMP & speakers
 - When used to add an aftermarket amplifier and speakers, the C2R-MIT connects to the male 6-pin DIN (round) plug located at the OEM (factory) amplifier under the front passengers seat in most Mitsubishi cars. The blue wire is still used as the remote turn-on for the aftermarket amplifier; however the OEM (factory) radio amp turn-on lead may not provide enough current to activate most aftermarket amplifiers. If you are adding aftermarket amps a Low Voltage Trigger is highly recommended.

1. The C2R-MIT is required in vehicles that are equipped with an "INFINITY" Audio System, otherwise this part is not required.
