Product Description: The GM10-AUX will convert the CD Changer prewired cable in select 1995-2004 GM vehicles into an auxiliary input. With this adapter installed you can connect any audio device [ iPod™, DVD, Satellite Radio, Walkman, X-BOX, Playstation, etc] to the factory radio without using FM Modulation. This plug-n-play solution surpasses FM modulation which is the current method of introducing audio in these systems. The GM10-AUX is intended to replace the factory CD Changer --- if one is present it must be disconnected. The GM10-AUX connects to the factory pre-run 10-PIN cable in trunk, hatch or center console in the vehicles listed in the pull-down menu above. Vehicles that are not prewired ---- [ see our GM9-AUX ] or purchased one of the following GM Cables from a dealer:

* 1997-04 Corvette prewired for CD Changer only.
Compatibility & Notes: [If your vehicle is listed, the radio must meet these requirements ]
1. Compatible with the select model/years listed in the pull-down menu above that are prewired for the factory CD Changer.
2. Not compatible with vehicles equipped with in-dash 6 disc slave units.
3. 1995 -99 AM/FM/CD radios in Chevrolet are not CD changer capable, and therefore not compatible with the GM10-AUX.
4. 2000 and earlier models are NOT capable of controlling two units (slave single CD or cassette Deck), therefore, these radios will need to have the slave unit disconnected.
5. Not compatible with GM OnStar™.

For proper operation of the GM10-AUX, the factory CD Changer (if present) will need to be disconnected from the factory harness.
