Product Description: What is an auxiliary input adapter? An auxiliary input adapter is nothing more than an electronic device that plugs into the audio port (CD Changer or SAT ) on select radios and allows the user to connect and listen to any audio devices on their factory speakers. Soundgate AUXNISSv3 dual auxiliary Input adapter will convert the CD port on select Nissan/Infiniti radios into an auxiliary input thuis allowing the user to connect up to 2 audio devices such as [iPod, MP3, DVD, Vehicle Satellite Radio Kits, X-BOX, VHS player, and others] directly to the Nissan/Infiniti radios listed in the "Order Options" drop-down list above. IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY & NOTES: [This section will inform you of the specific requirements for your factory radio to be compatible with the AUXNISSv3. These notes will inform you of any issues or circumstances that can affect the compatibility of our product with your radio, audio system, or accessories. Not all Factory radios are compatible with the AUXNISSv3. The AUXNISSv3 will only work on models equipped with the specifications listed below. Please read and understand these notes before purchasing this part ]
1. Compatible with Nissan/Infiniti vehicles listed in pull-down menu that has external CD Changer Controls.
2. CD Changer controlling radios must have
a 12-pin connector on the back of the radio and a CD/CHG "CD6", "DISC" button on the face. (see footnotes).
3. The AUXNISSv3 is NOT compatible with Nissan or Infiniti radios with a "SAT" button on the faceplate. [ see our PXNI for radios with SAT button ].
4. Vehicle cannot be equipped with an external CD Changer (if so it must be disconnected from the factory radio).
5. The AUXNISSv3 does not control the connected device, it will only transfer audio from the device to the radio via the CD Changer port.
6. Please do not order this part if your vehicle is NOT listed or does not meet the specific criteria set forth on this page.

ALL RADIOS MUST HAVE A "CD/CHG" button on the face. Radios with "CD" (except 350z/G35) or "SAT" button are NOT COMPATIBLE.
NOTEWORTHY:
1. Are you purchasing the AUXNISSv3 to connect your iPod? We recommend adding the iS75 Universal iPod cable to connect your iPod to the AUXNISSv3 via the dock connector instead of the headphone jack, you will benefit from better sound (line level) and the option to charge your iPod.
2. Add some T-Taps terminals to your order for a quick & easy connection and avoid cutting the factory wires.
3. Eliminate system hiss, pops noises with the 3.5-INLO or a line driver to increase the audio level from your audio source to equal that of the factory audio sources (CD, Tape, radio, etc.)
