Product Description: The BLAU/8-3.5M (Blaupunkt/Becker part # 7-607-897-093) is used to convert the CD Changer port on select Blaupunkt/Becker radios into a stereo 3.5mm input jack allowing any audio device with a 3.5mm (headphone) connector to connect directly into the Blaupunkt Radio. Use this auxiliary input converter to connect the audio from a satellite radio car kit, Mini Disc player, portable MP3 player, DVD player, iPod, game systems etc to the Blaupunkt /Becker radio.
Compatibility & Notes: ( please read before purchasing this part )
1. The BLAU/8-3.5M connects to the 8-pin square CD changer data port at the rear of the receiver.-- CLICK HERE FOR PRODUCT MANUALS.
2. This cable is 6' long with a straight gold plated 3.5mm plug on one end and 8-pin male plug on the other. Click here for 90 degree 3.5mm version.
3. † Also compatible with Porsche/Becker Radio models: Traffic Pro, CDR-22, CR-220 and CDR-220 (*not* compatible with CR-210, CDR-210) and 2002-04 Land Rover/Becker Radio model 4775 (CD Changer must be disconnected and will no longer function)
How to active the "AUX" on Porsche radios with "PT" button (i.e CR-220)
1. Turn radio ON Press and hold the "PT" button for about 8 seconds until Becker 1 is displayed. Turn the Tuning Knob until AUX OFF is displayed. Press either button located directly under the Arrows on the display to change the present setting from OFF to ON. Turn radio OFF. Auxiliary Audio Input has now been activated.
How to enable "AUX" on Porsche NavTraffic Pro Radios
Press the "Radio" button to enter Radio mode. Press the "Nav" and "F10" (last button on the right) at the same time. Press "Next" until the AUX input, Changer Res screen, Press AUX to enable/disable.
Radio must have "AUX" option for this cable to work.
Special Blaupunkt Notes:
1. Switching the Source (Selecting auxiliary
input)
Each time the CD is pressed, the operation source will change over as shown below;
CD --> CD Changer or AUX ---> CD etc
If the "CD" button is pressed when no CD has been loaded into the unit, The CD mode will skip to the CD changer mode or AUX mode. Also, if the CD changer is not connected, the system will move across to the AUX mode regardless of whether auxiliary equipment is connected or not (“MP3/AUX” will be displayed.) Press the BND / TS to return to tuner mode.
