Product Description: The X3-HON98 is a vehicle specific T-harness designed to work with PIE X3 remote input switcher in vehicles equipped with CD Changer or factory XM and will allow you to input the audio from not one, but three audio sources to all Model Year Honda/Acura Vehicles listed in our "Order Options" drown-down list above [not compatible with model/years not listed]. Once installed, [the X3 + X3-HON98 ] you can connect any three audio devices [ iPod™, MP3, DVD, SAT. adio, playstation, Discman etc] that has a line output, directly to your headunit without using an FM Modulator. The X3 (sold separatley) comes with a wired remote selector switch that allows the user to easily change sources from CD Changer, or (factory XM) to input 1 (X1), input 2 (X2) or input 3(X3) and back again.

Compatibility Notes:
1. The vehicle MUST be equipped with a slave unit [CD Changer (not FM Modulated) or factory XM] for the X3-HON98 and X3 to work.
2. CD Changer or XM must be active (running) to listen to input 1, 2 or 3.
3. Cable is 2ft. long with a DB37-pin connector on one end and a "Y" connector (1 14-pin male and 1 14-pin female) on the other.

1. Vehicles equipped with Satellite Radio must be in clear view of the satellites, otherwise the system will mute.
2. Vehicles equipped with CD Changer must have at least one disc playing for the system to work.
3. The X3 system will work ONLY IF the applicable vehicle is equipped with one of the following:
a. External CD Changer (referring to the 6 cd changer in the trunk, under seat, glove box etc)
b. RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment) OR
c. Factory Satellite Radio.
This system WILL NOT WORK without one of these options.
