  Product Description: iPod products are everywhere and because of their mass storage and portability, people are using them in their cars instead of a CD Changer. The AUXPDJVCv2 aftermarket iPod harness (by Soundgate) lets you connect select iPod products to JVC's J-Link port on select JVC Receiver with CD Changer controls to input audio and charge* select iPod products with dock connectors. With this harness installed you can connect iPod products directly to select JVC in-dash Receiver with CD Changer controls and begin to enjoy the best sound through a clean audio connection.
Compatibility and Notes: [These requirements must be met for this part to work]
 1. The AUXPDJVC is compatible with select 2002-Up JVC head units with CD Changer controls. Please consult your manual for specific details.
2. Compatible with all iPods with dock connectors at the bottom of the iPod.
3. When the AUXPDJVC is used, you cannot connect a JVC CD Changer to the Receiver.
4. The AUXPDJVC cable is 4 ft. long with JVC's J-LINK connector on one end and the iPod dock connector on the other.
5. iPod will Pause when the vehicle's ingition is turned "OFF"
6. The AUXPDJVC will also charge* the iPod while it's connected to the docking cable
6. Control and display remain on the iPod-- the JVC radio will NOT Control or display iPod text.

1. In order for the AUXPDJVCv2 to work the Radio's J-Link input needs to be set properly to use the J-Link port as an AUX input. The head unit manual describes how to turn on the "AUX" or "LINE-IN" mode. [default setting is CD changer].
2. When the AUXPDJVCv2 is used, you cannot connect a JVC Changer to the JVC Radio.
3. * The AUXPDJVCv2 is not compatible with the iPhone (3G), Touch (2G), Nano (4G)
