Retention of Factory XM and Navigation in select 2003-10 Honda/Acura vehicles is now possible with the HON/M-LINK1V.2x
The HON/M-LINK1V.2X iPod interface by Blitzsafe is for those wanting a clean audio connection and the ability to charge iPod products on the Honda Audio System. This adapter connects to the CD Changer/XM Port on the back of the radio. Once everything is installed, you will be able to access your iPod by pressing the CD, AUX, or Mode button on the radio and quickly begin to enjoy CD quality sound from your iPod™ on the factory speakers. As for display and controls --- the HON/M-LINK1 V.2x does NOT lock the iPod clickwheel and because of that none of the iPod controls are compromised as you will be able to access your Playlists and settings using the iPod clickwheel. (The factory radio buttons do not control this device or the iPod). The HON/M-LINK1V.2x does not require disconnecting the factory XM or Navigation, in fact it is designed to retain the factory XM Radio and Navigation in addition to your iPod. This interface also *charges the iPod battery and to prevent battery drain a built-in timer will automatically stop the charging process 20 minutes after the radio is turned off. Connecting the HON/M-LINK1V.2x to the factory radio is a quick and easy affair-- no wires to cut or splice, ----- just plug-n-play.

Compatibility & Notes: [These requirements must be met for this part to work]
1. Compatible with listed model/year vehicles with or without XM, Navigation, 6 disc in-dash CD changer Radio.[ does not compromise any functions of the 6-disc CD changer radio.]
2. All radios must also have this new style 14-PIN connector on the back or on the bottom of the radio.---see Warning below.
3. Radio must be removed from dash to connect this interface.
4. Factory add-on (CD/MP3 player or external CD Changer) MUST BE DISCONNECTED AND WILL NOT LONGER FUNCTION.
5. Control and display remain with the iPod. you will *NOT* be able to control the iPod from the radio buttons.
6. The HON/M-LINK1V.2x includes a 14-pin Y-adapter for you to reconnect or connect the factory options (XM, Nav).
