Many Honda/Acura Owners had no choice but to disconnect the factory Satellite Radio when connecting an aftermarket audio adapter to the factory radio --- Blitzsafe has answered the bell with the HON/AUX DMX V.2X . This latest release is compatible with select 2003-08 Honda/Acura OEM (factory) radios with or without factory XM and will also work with or without factory Navigation. Use the HON/AUX DMX V.2X auxiliary input adapter to input the audio from devices such as iPod, DVD, Satellite Radio Tuners, VCR, MP3 Players, X-BOX, Playstation etc for a clean audio connection without sacrificing the factory XM Radio or Navigation features in your vehicle.
Compatibility & Notes: [ These requirements must be met for this part to work]
1. Compatible with ALL HONDA/ACURA MODELS listed in the pull-down menu above.
2. Works in the select vehicles with or without factory Navigation, with or without factory XM.
3. Installing this adapter does not interfere with the in-dash 6-disc CD changer Radio,-- however, any external mounted CD changer (trunk, glove box, under seat etc) must be disconnected.
4. All vehicles listed in pull-down menu must have a white 14-pin connector on the back of the stereo.---- see Warning message below.
5. The HON/AUX DMX V.2x includes a 14-pin Y-cable for you to reconnect the factory option (XM or Nav)
1. It is possible that certain 2003-Up Honda Element LX†, Acura TSX and other radios has a HON98 style connector instead of the HON03-style connector. Use these radio removal instructions along with this exclusive document to determine the difference between the two 14-pin connectors. Fortunatley this preventive method will determine the right connector style and save time and money.
