By facilitating a full-control interface, on factory stereos and steering wheel controls, drivers no longer have to fumble with the iPod to browse for music or play a song. The PXDP2 (also known as iPod2carGen 2 OEM) allows the user to browse by Playlist, Artist, Album and Genre, as well as view the song title and artist information on the radio screen without the need to create custom playlists and because of this the iPod can be stowed out of sight for safety and a clean installation while maintaining a factory interior appearance. The PXPD2 OEM iPod™ interface allows you to listen, charge, and control iPod™ products (including the iPod Video, Photo, Nano, Mini, Classic, Touch, iPhone) through the built in Satellite function. The total evolution of Peripheral’s next generation iPod2Car component is one of the few iPod interface in the world today that integrates completely with select 2005-08 Toyota Satellite Ready Radios (Must have a "SAT" Button on the radio face). Direct audio connection gives you optimal sound quality; no FM modulation or cassette adapter to deal with.

1. Compatible 2005-07 Toyota and 2005-06 Lexus Radios must have a "SAT" or "AM-SAT" button.
2. Compatible with Navigation Radios.
3. Not compatible with Hybrid vehicles, 2007 Avalon with Navigation or any Navigation radio that does not have a "SAT" button on the face.
4. The PXH2TY1 (Toyota) harness is required. (See pull-down menu above to add the applicable harness to your order)

1. The PXPD2 does NOT interfere with the operation of the in-dash single or 6-CD Changer Radio.
2. When the iPod is connected to the interface both the iPod clickwheel and display are disabled. Operating the iPod is possible using the radio buttons and display.
3. The PXDP2 8-pin DIN connector is NOT COMPATIBLE with 8-pin Mini DIN dock cables.
4. THE PXDP2 IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) or factory Satellite Radio. These options must be disconnect and will not longer function.--- The PXAMG-T and PXAMG-F support and retain these factory options.
5. *The PXDP2 plays but does *NOT* charge the iPhone (3G, 3Gs, 4G), Touch (2G, 3G), Nano (4G, 5G) iPods. You must purchase the PODCBLBM-5V or PODCBLBM20-5V cable to charge these iPods on PXDP2's with 8-pin DIN connector.
