1. The iSGM575 works on the XM port. Vehicles that are XM Ready but do not have XM may require activating this port by a GM dealer. These radios will *NOT* recognize the adapter until the XM port is activated. This step is not required in vehicles with factory XM.
2. Not compatible in vehicles equipped with "Monsoon" system or any other "signal sensing" amplifier..
