The iPod2Car interface delivers CD quality sound directly into the factory sound system via the CD changer port in over 135 vehicles on the road today. The PXDP (iPod2Car ver. 1.5.1) integrates iPod™ products with a number of factory radios that have external Changer controls functions. Does your vehicle have steering wheel-mounted audio system controls? If so, you're likely in for another treat: this too work flawlessly with the iPod2car. With the iPod2car you control TRACK UP/DOWN, FAST FORWARD/REWIND using the radio or steering wheel controls and unlike other iPod adapters the iPod2car does not disable the iPod built-in controls thus allowing access to all playlists and settings using the familiar click wheel/touch controls.

Acura/Honda
- Navigation radios are *NOT* compatible
- Honda with 6-CD Changer Radios are *NOT* compatible
Audi
- Vehicles equipped with a "Symphony Sound" system require the PXHAD2 (sold separately) harness as well as the PXHVW2 harness (free).
Buick/Cadillac/Chevrolet/GMC/Hummer/Oldsmobile/Pontiac
- Radio must be equipped with a "TAPE/AUX" button or a "CD/AUX" button to be compatible.
- 1995-1999 AM/FM/CD Radios (except Corvette) are *NOT* compatible
- 1998-2004 GM vehicles NOT equipped with a factory slave unit may not be able to support an external device therefore the PXDP may not be compatible
- 1997-04 Corvette not pre-wired requires our special PXHGM4 installation harness (connects to the radio).
Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep
- Radio MUST have "Disc ^" printed on preset number one
- 1999 Chrysler vehicles with a SQUARE face radio use the PXHCH1 harness. OVAL face radios use the PXHCH2 harness.
- 2002-Up Vehicles: Radio models REF, REC, RAK & RAQ are *NOT* compatible. Purchase the iSCH73
Ford/Lincoln/Mercury
- Compatible with 2000-04 Ford Focus with Blaupunkt Radios. The PXHBLAU Harness is required.
- 1995-1997 Ford Explorer & Crown Victoria with the JBL system will require the PXHFD1 harness for the rear control unit in trunk/hatch
Toyota/Lexus/Scion
- Not compatible with Hybrid vehicles
- 2010-Up Toyota Vehicles: Radios equipped with a "RADIO" button are *NOT* compatible
Volkswagen
- Navigation radios are not compatible
- Whenever possible, we recommend using the PXHVW2 or the PXHVW3 harness and install the module behind the radio. This will avoid the possibility of inherent noise problems in some vehicles with the factory CD Changer cable in trunk/hatch or use the PXHVW1 with optional VW8-HAR harness.
- Double-DIN radios use the PXHVW3 harness
- Single-DIN radios use the PXHVW2 harness

HOW TO SELECT APPLICABLE INSTALLATION HARNESS.
1. Open the APPLICATION GUIDE in your browser
2. Locate your vehicle manufacturer/model/year. Find harness part number in next column.
3. Select listed harness from the drop-down. Selected harness is added to order. Not all harnesses are Free. (See drop-down)

Connect to the CD Changer port on factory radio. Vehicles in APPLICATION GUIDE must have radios with CD Changer controls. CD Changer (if present), must be disconnected.

    I installed the iSimple in my wife's 2004 Beetle and it works great! In addition to the iPod cable that came with the unit I also ordered part number PX35RCA

USA/Canada customers: Pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal: PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo. Gift cards that display Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover logos are also accepted.
Please make sure to enter your billing information (first name, last name, billing address, and credit card information) exactly as it appears on credit card statement. We are a specialty store and every effort is made to get your order shipped at soon as possible; however any products marked "assembly time required" or "assembled by hand" needs additional time (usually 1-3 days) to assemble and then shipped using shipping method select at checkout.

Defective returns:
Our return policy differs from than of other online merchants and we encourage customer read it in its entirety prior to ordering.
Defective returns are eligible for warranty repair or replacement service: Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other return reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and to ship replacement back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.
