FRD03-DVD DVD Retention harness for select 2004-06 Ford

P.I.E. continues to lead the pack with the introduction of their latest Ford RSE Solution. The FRD03-DVD harness allows you to retain use of the factory DVD player after replacing the factory radio. In these vehicles, the ability to turn on/off factory DVD player or listen to it are lost whenever the factory radio is replaced. The FRD03-DVD provides the factory DVD with power and provides the aftermarket radio with an audio signal from the factory DVD through a set of RCA connectors (the aftermarket radio being installed must have Audio inputs or an Auxiliary input port)- -- -- see our list of Auxiliary input adapters.
Compatibility & Installation Notes: [These requirements must be met for this part to work]
1. Retains factory DVD Audio after replacing factory radio in select 2004-06 vehicles listed in pull-down menu below.
2. The replacement radio must have an Auxiliary input port
3. NOT Compatible with 2005-08 Can-Bus Radios [see the FRD04-DVD]
4. Does not Retain Factory Satellite Radio.
The red wire must be connected to a 12-volt accessory wire and black wire to ground

The FRD03-DVD does NOT enable the aftermarket audio/video receiver to play video on the factory DVD Screen.
