Defective returns:
Our returns policy differs from than of other online merchants and we encourage everyone to read the returns policy page it in its entirety prior to ordering.
Defective returns are eligible for warranty repair or replacement service: Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Our family owned and operated specialty store makes every effort to get your order processed and shipped at soon as possible; but because 92% of our offerings are custom built, additional time (usually 2-4 working days) is required after which time your order will ship using shipping method selected at checkout. Products requiring assembly includes this assembly logo and a warning message at the end of product description.
Paying for a faster delivery method (e.g. Express mail, Priority mail etc.) for parts requiring "assembly" will not speed up assembly time; however, it does speed up delivery time.
Delivery time for in stock products requiring assembly= Assembly time (2-4 working days) + transit time (your shipping method).

Parts not requiring assembly or customization (off-the-shelf), usually ship within 24 hours.
Tracking information is sent to your email upon labeling. Customers accounts are also updated at the same time. All customers (with or without accounts) can check order status online which has the same details available to our staff.
Except for Priority Mail Express® (Overnight Delivery*), USPS delivery times for Priority Mail® and First-Class Mail® are estimates and are not guaranteed; however these are delivered to most states after 2-7 working days.
International orders require additional paperwork and processing time (3-4 days) prior to shipping.
