This affordable module allows users to jam out and make phone calls over the car speakers without changing the radio. (1) Hands-free Profile (HFP) is not only less distracting than trying to juggle a phone while steering but the only legal way to do it in many states. (2) Streaming audio (A2DP) allows user to play internet music, listen to turn-by-turn directions and more and (3) Auxiliary input Or CD playback: allows users to connect and play any audio device with 3.5mm jack including MP3 players, Satellite radio kits, iPods etc. or option to retain playback from the required CD changer. (4) Charging: The built-in USB port provides 5V/2.1A charging power to keep devices charged while on the road. Once installed, your smart device (Smartphone, Tablet etc.) will automatically connect to the module hidden behind the dash upon entering the vehicle.

2. Works in 2000-06 XK, XK8, XKR (x1000) Standard audio systems only with this radio.
3. Works in 1998-03 XJ, XJ8, VP, DE (x308) Standard sound systems only. (Without amplifier in luggage compartment)
4. Not compatible with 2000+ X100/X308 Premium Sound systems (Alpine). These systems requires our BTH-JAG98 instead.
5. All vehicles must have a fully functioning CD changer in luggage compartment. CD Changer remains connected and functional.
6. Installs/connects to the radio behind the dash. (Radio/console removal required to install).
