Install a modern Porsche Classic, Continental/VDO etc. and bypass Blaupunkt Hi-Fi amplifier in Porsche 964.
Continental/VDO radios are slowly becoming the choice for many looking to upgrade factory Blaupunkt and other Porsche radios in their European vehicle. It would then make perfect sense to also bypass vintage M494 Hi-Fi Blaupunkt amplifier (usually under passenger seat). Enter the BHA-POR.
Bypass Blaupunkt Hi-Fi amplifier: The BHA-POR is used to bypass Blaupunkt Hi-Fi amplifier (e.g. BQA 80, BQB 80, 928 645 435 00 etc.) allowing the replacement radio to directly power the speakers. Use in vintage Porsche vehicles (e.g. 964 etc.) and other European vehicles to replace Blaupunkt SQR 46, SQR 47, SQR 48 radios (e.g. Reno, Toronto, Lexington, Heidelberg, Bremen, Washington etc.); as well as Porsche CD-1, CD-2, CD-10 radios with a Continental/VDO, Porsche Classic and other Euro-style radio with 8-pin ISO speaker output.
Note: The BHA-POR also applies to bypass a failed Blaupunkt amplifier.
