Install a modern Porsche Classic, Continental/VDO, and others while bypassing Blaupunkt Hi-Fi amplifier.
Continental/VDO radios are slowly becoming the choice for many looking to upgrade factory Blaupunkt and other Porsche radios in European vehicles. It would then make perfect sense to also bypass vintage Blaupunkt amplifier (usually under passenger seat). Enter the BHA-POR.
Bypass Blaupunkt Hi-Fi amplifier: The BHA-POR is used to bypass factory Hi-Fi amplifier (e.g. BQA 80, BQB 80, 928 645 435 00 etc.) allowing replacement radio to power speaker directly. Use in vintage Porsche vehicles (e.g. 964, 944, 928 etc.) and other European vehicles to replace Blaupunkt SQR 46, SQR 47, SQR 48 radio (e.g. Reno, Toronto, Lexington, Heidelberg, Bremen, Washington etc.); as well as Porsche CD-1, CD-2, CD-10 radios with a Continental/VDO, Porsche Classic and other Euro-style 8-pin ISO speaker output.
Note: The BHA-POR also applies to bypass a failed Blaupunkt amplifier.
