Install a Continental/VDO radio and and retain Blaupunkt Hi-Fi amplifier.
Even if the radio in your vehicle still works great, infotainment options are limited to AM/FM tape or CD; but If looking to move beyond the same old radio stations or CD's ; Continental & VDO radios are slowly becoming the radio choice for upgrading older European luxury vehicles (e.g. BMW, Mercedes, Porsche etc.) to support USB, Bluetooth, DAB etc.; fitting existing radio slot with little to no modification. Because Continental & VDO radios lack line level outputs; they can't connect directly to the OE amplifier without modification. With the ARH-BKT, these proud owners are able to replace the OE radio (Blaupunkt or Porsche) e.g. SQR 46, CD-2 etc. with a modern Continental or VDO (e.g. TR7412UB etc.) while retaining the OE Blaupunkt amplifier (usually under front seat). If not retaining amplifier (bypassing); purchase our BHA-POR harness instead.
Purchase the ARH-BKT to replace Blaupunkt SQR 46 (Reno, Lexington, Bremen, Toronto), SQR 47 (Washington etc.), SQR 48 (Toronto), Montreal (CR-40), Porsche CD-1, CD-2, CD-10 etc. and keep Blaupunkt Hi-Fi amplifier (BQA 80, BQB 80, 928 645 435 00 etc.) (Not applicable to Nokia, Haes or Alpine OE amplifiers)
The ARH-BKT has (2) 8-pin ISO plugs and (1) 8-pin DIN socket.
