The GMCO2 (ver 1.4.5) is a plug-n-play Chime and Data-bus Integration Interface compatible with select 2000-05 GM LeSable, Aurora and Bonneville Class-2 Radios without OnStar® OR Premium BOSE Sound Systems. Purchase this interface to quickly replace the factory radio with an aftermarket Radio in the vehicles listed in the pull-down menu below. The GMCO2 Enables aftermarket radio installation without retention of the factory radio, replicates factory warning chimes, provides a data-bus generated 12-volt accessory power output that is fully compatible with GM's Retained Accessory Power (RAP) system. RAP keeps the radio powered after key-off, just like the factory system. The GMCO2 also issues data commands that maintain a “healthy” system status to other vehicle systems.

» Safe & Sound Class II circuitry will not disable vehicle data bus even if interface loses power

» New radio will operate with the vehicle RAP (Retained Accessory Power) system. The radio stays on for 10 minutes after the key is turned off.

1. The GMCO2 is compatible with GM's "Standard BOSE® if OnStar® retention is not required in the select 2000-05 GM listed in the pull-down menu below.

Defective returns:
Our returns policy differs from than of other online merchants so we encourage everyone to read the returns policy page it in its entirety prior to ordering.
Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service: Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

We are a family owned and operated specialty store and as such every effort is made to get your order processed and shipped at soon as possible; but because 95% of our offerings require assembly (built based on options selected at checkout); additional time (usually 2-4 working days) is required after which time orders are shipped using shipping method selected at checkout. Products requiring assembly includes this graphic and reminder warning message at the bottom of product description page.
Paying for a faster delivery method (e.g. Express mail, Priority mail etc.) for products requiring "assembly" does not speed up assembly (build) time; however, it does speed up delivery time.
Delivery time for in stock products requiring assembly= Assembly time (2-4 working days) + transit time (your shipping method).
