The new BTH-JAG98 (formerly A2DIY-JAG98) allows users to jam to their favorite tunes, make phone calls over the car speakers without changing the radio. (1) Hands-free profile: (HFP) is not only less distracting than trying to juggle a phone while steering but the only legal way to do it in many states/counties. (2) Audio streaming: (A2DP) allows user to stream internet music, turn-by-turn directions, podcast and more (3) CD playback or Auxiliary input: allows users to continue to play CD's or instead; connect and play audio devices with a 3.5mm jack including MP3 players, Satellite radio kits, iPods etc. (4) USB charger: The built-in USB port provides 5V/2.1A power supply for your audio devices.
An optional 6 ft. USB extension cable is recommended to extend the module built-in USB charging port to the front of the dash, armrest, glovebox etc. Once paired, the module (hidden under armrest) automatically pairs with smart device upon entering vehicle. This clean solution leaves no wires or clutter on or around the dash and is the accessory you want if looking for Bluetooth connectivity without altering the dashboard components or investing in a new radio.

Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Additional time (usually 2-4 working days) is required after which time orders are shipped using shipping method selected at checkout. Paying for a faster delivery method (e.g. Express mail, Priority mail etc.) for products requiring "assembly" does NOT speed up assembly (built by hand) time; however, it does speed up delivery time after shipment.

    The product was pretty easy to install in my 2001 XJR with premium audio. I have no car stereo experience and it took me about 2 hours, a lot of that was physically fishing wires behind trim pieces, which I am not good at doing, so this would probably take an experienced person 1 hour or less. I found the phone module connector but mine had different wiring (light green was NOT the 12v supply and there was no black ground - ended up being the green/white stripe for power).

    Pairing was easy, sound quality from BT audio is excellent. Two "glitches" I've noticed are that, while my CD changer worked when I first connected this thing, it now no longer works ("No disc" error message from factory radio). Maybe it'll start working again, I have no idea why it stopped. Also, the included microphone and/or BT Handsfree capability makes my voice sound "tin-y" people are telling me. Handsfree mode has a noticeable whine from the speakers that is not present in BT-audio playback mode. My phone is a Pixel 4, so it's pretty good. Aside from these small issues, product works as promised and instructions are 90% accurate.
