That's right! If your 2002-10 Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge has Sirius radio (Subscribed only) or remote CD changer in lower dash, armrest, trunk/hatch or VES (DVD); the A2D-CHRY02 module is for you. The new BTA-CHRY02 (formerly A2D-CHRY02) upgrades Chrysler audio system to support new technology without forfeiting the original radio, CD changer, Sirius subscription or VES. This Bluetooth module connects to the 10-pin port on AM/FM/CD radio to provide the best sound quality for internet music streams, turn-by-turn directions, podcasts, charging port (5V/2.1A) and more on daily commute or leisure drive and unlike other adapters; the required remote CD changer, Satellite radio subscription or VES (DVD) remains connected and fully operational. (vehicle must have at least one remote player option)
Alert: If vehicle only has Satellite radio option; subscription must be active. If subscription has expired and vehicle does not have another factory option (e.g. VES or remote CD changer); the BTA-CHRY02 will not work as described.
This clean solution leaves no wires on or around the dash and is the accessory you want if looking for music streaming connectivity without investing in a new radio, or sacrificing the remote CD changer, Satellite radio subscription or VES (DVD).
