Our returns policy differs from than of other online merchants so we encourage everyone to read the returns policy page it in its entirety prior to ordering.
Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Gone are the days when customer needed to call or email to obtain shipping rates. At Discount Car Stereo.com, shipping rates are automated and calculated in real time and dependent on cart contents, weight and destination.
To determine applicable shipping for items in cart:

We are a family owned and operated specialty car stereo and accessory store and as such every effort is made to get your order processed and shipped at soon as possible; but because 95% of our offerings are made to order (not sitting on shelf collecting dust). Additional time (usually 2-4 business days) is required after which time orders are shipped using shipping method selected at checkout. Products requiring assembly includes this graphic in addition to warning messages at the bottom of the product description page.
Selecting (paying) for a faster delivery method (e.g. Express mail, Priority mail etc.) for products requiring "assembly" does NOT speed up assembly (build) time; however, it does speed up delivery time after shipment.
Delivery time for products requiring assembly= Assembly time (2-4 business days) + transit time (your shipping method).

Tracking information is emailed upon labeling. Customers accounts are also updated at the same time. All customers (with or without accounts) are able to check order status online which displays the same details available to our staff.
Except for Priority Mail Express® (Overnight Delivery*), USPS delivery times for Priority Mail® and USPS Ground Advantage™ are estimates and are not guaranteed; however delivery time to most states is between 2-7 business days.
International orders require additional paperwork and processing time (6-10 days) prior to shipping and due to many factors (custom inspections, carrier changeovers etc. ) we care not able to determine delivery times .
