Add a 5-pin threaded remote control to 2020+ Clarion, Kicker or JL Audio digital receiver in any boat with 6-pin extension cable.
Many boat owners looking to upgrade or who may have already upgraded to the newest Clarion, Kicker or JL Audio digital marine receiver, may also want to add a 5-pin threaded wired remote control (e.g. CMM-30, MM105 etc.) to the dive platform, transom etc. In order to connect a wired remote to the new radio; a new 5-pin remote control extension cable must be installed, but running a new remote control extension cable is daunting, expensive and (in many instances); virtually impossible! but if previous stereo used a 6-pin DIN remote control extension cable; connecting a 5-pin threaded remote to new receiver can be done in minutes and for less than $100. The CMRR-C5 is a two part cable kit that (1) connects to the new receiver to one end of the extension cable and (2) connect extension cable to the 5-pin threaded remote. (each cable connects at the ends of the 6-pin DIN extension cable already fitted). If boat has multiple remotes ; you will need a CMRR-R2.
» Install a 2020+ 5-pin threaded digital marine remote control to corresponding digital receiver in any boat that has a 6-pin DIN remote control extension cable already fitted.
» Connect Clarion 5-pin threaded digital remote control (e.g. CMM-10, CMM-20, CMM-30 etc.) to Clarion digital media receiver using the 6-pin DIN remote control extension "boat cable" already fitted.

» includes a matching 6-pin DIN plug/connector fits 6-pin "remote control extension cable" (M101RC) or 6-pin splitter cable (M101RYC) already fitted (extension cable required)
