Connect and play potable audio devices in 2003-12 GM vehicle with hideaway XM module (U2K) and/or RSE (DVD) without cutting or splicing!

Is your 2003-12 GM truck, car or SUV fitted with a hideaway XM module and/or RSE (DVD)? If so, that is great news if looking to connect and play music from smartphone and other portable audio devices with a 3.5mm jack. For this cable to work as described, you must first confirm vehicle has the required XM module by pressing the "BAND" button on AM/FM radio to display "XM1/2" but If only FM/AM is displayed or vehicle does not RSE (DVD); this cable, sadly will NOT work. With the AUX-GM3x installed; users are able to connect and play portable audio devices (e.g. Smartphone, iPod, MP3 player and more) on the factory system without interfering with XM or RSE playback. To install; connect male 16-pin plug to XM module (usually behind glove box, hatch or trunk area), route and secure jack on or near dashboard (4mm or 5/32" shaft) and plug-in audio device. To listen to XM (if subscribed) or DVD (on car speakers) simply unplug audio cable from jack (jack must be empty) -- its that simple--- no complicated setup, switches, cutting or splicing.
Alert:If smartphone does not have a 3.5mm jack (e.g. iPhone, Android etc.), purchase our BTA-GM3x module for wireless/Bluetooth connection.

1. Works in 2003-12 GM Class-II vehicles listed in drop-down with RSE (DVD) or hideaway XM module (With or without subscription)
2. Connects to 16-pin socket on hideaway XM module (Does not fit AM/FM radio). Read install guide for possible XM module location.
3. XM subscription not required but vehicle must have hideaway XM module or RSE. Will not work without XM module and/or RSE (DVD).
4. To retain XM subscription, select "Subscribed" otherwise select "Not subscribed". If NOT currently subscribed but plan to at a later date; select "Subscribed" otherwise XM will not play once activated.
5. Vehicle must have hideaway XM module (U2K) regardless of subscription status.
6. Cable is available in 4 (default), 6, 8, 10 and 15 ft. lengths. Measure distance between hideaway XM module and potential jack location. See drop-down.

1. Your vehicle MUST HAVE hideaway XM module (silver box). Subscription status could be active or expired. Don't ignore this.
2. Hideaway XM module is a silver box in remote area; (not built-into AM/FM radio). Click here for help locating XM module.
3. This cable requires assembly (build) and will not ship same day. After assembly (2-4 days) it is then shipped using method selected at checkout.

Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value.     I bought this a couple days ago and installed it before a long road trip and it work so perfectly. It looks and sounds factory and the quality of the parts is perfect. Definitely would recommend if you want to keep your radio factory.

    Just wanted to say Thank you So much!!!. I installed it today and couldn't be happier! It works perfectly and looks and fit just like an OEM product if not even higher quality than OEM. The sound quality is perfect too and even though it wasn't intended to be used with phone calls it also works great that way too!. I use it with my Samsung phone using a USB C to 3.5mm Audio jack adapter. Again thank to so much!!

    This is an awesome harness and easy to install harness on my 2007 Trailblazer LT. It gives you an aux input while keeping the factory head unit and not losing Sirius XM radio. The music is very clear with no static or interface. It also works great when you receive a phone call. Caller can hear very clearly and all sound comes through speakers.
