Any 2003-12 GM vehicle with hideaway XM module (U2K) can benefit from this easy-peasy auxiliary input jack!

Many 2003-12 GM truck, cars and SUV's were fitted with a hideaway XM module which is great news if looking to connect and play music from smartphone or other audio device. To confirm vehicle has the required XM module simply press "BAND" button on AM/FM radio until XM1/2 is displayed and XM preview etc. is heard. This confirm vehicle support for the AUX-GM3X, but if radio displays only FM/AM; this cable, sadly will NOT work. With the AUX-GM3x installed; users are able to connect and play portable audio devices (e.g. Smartphone, iPod, MP3 player and more) on the factory system without interfering with XM playback (if subscribed) . To install; connect male 16-pin plug to XM module (usually behind glove box, hatch or trunk area), route and secure jack on or near dashboard (4mm or 5/32" shaft) and plug-in audio device. To listen to XM (if subscribed), unplug audio cable from jack-- its that simple--- no complicated setup, switches, cutting or splicing. If you prefer a wireless Bluetooth connection; purchase our A2D-GM3x module instead.

1. Works in 2003-12 GM Class-II vehicles listed in drop-down with hideaway XM module (With or without subscription)
2. Connects to 16-pin socket on hideaway XM module (Does not fit AM/FM radio). Click installation guide for possible XM module location.
3. Subscription not required but vehicle must have hideaway XM module Will not work without it.
4. If subscribed; select "Subscribed"; not subscribed; select "Not subscribed". If NOT currently subscribed but plan to at a later date; select "Subscribed" otherwise XM will not play once activated.
5. Vehicle must have hideaway XM module (U2K) regardless of subscription status.
6. Cable is available in 4 (default), 6, 8, 10 and 15 ft. lengths. Measure distance between hideaway XM module and potential jack location. See drop-down.

2. Hideaway XM module is a silver box in remote area; (not built-into AM/FM radio). Click here for help locating XM module.
3. This cable requires assembly (build) and will not ship same day. After assembly (2-4 days) it is then shipped using method selected at checkout.

Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

    This is an awesome harness and easy to install harness on my 2007 Trailblazer LT. It gives you an aux input while keeping the factory head unit and not losing Sirius XM radio. The music is very clear with no static or interface. It also works great when you receive a phone call. Caller can hear very clearly and all sound comes through speakers.
