Tired of listening to the same radio commercials, tapes or CD's? Upgrade older Fords to support media formats only available on newer cars.
Using a phone in any way while driving can be dangerous and if your older Ford still drives great, but lack support for more attractive modern media formats such as Bluetooth, flash drives etc. and if you are pass CD's, cassette tapes or listening to the same old commercials on the radio, the BT6-FRD04 module is for you! Hands-free Profile (HFP) is not only less distracting than trying to juggle a phone while steering but it’s also the only legal way to do it in many states. Streaming audio (A2DP) allows users to stream internet music, turn-by-turn directions and more. AVRCP support allows the car radio/steering wheel buttons to change tracks, answer/end calls etc. USB media player allows playback of MP3, WMA, Flac formats on USB sticks or SD/SDHC cards in CD quality. USB charging provides 5V/2.1A charging current to help maintain a charge on your devices while on the road.
