Defective returns:
Our returns policy differs from than of other online merchants and we encourage everyone to read the returns policy page it in its entirety prior to ordering.
Defective returns are eligible for warranty repair or replacement service: Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Gone are the days when customer had to call or email to obtain shipping rates. At Discount Car Stereo.com, shipping rates are automated and calculated in real time and dependent on cart contents, weight and destination.
To determine applicable shipping rate for items in your cart:

- If already signed in; select address from address book or if new or anonymous enter a shipping address

We ship throughout the USA, Canada and select international destinations (See country drop-down in checkout page for list of international countries or visit our Frequent ask questions page).
Our family owned and operated specialty store makes every effort to get your order processed and shipped at soon as possible; but because 92% of our offerings require assembly (built after order completion); additional time (usually 2-4 working days) is required after which time your order will ship using shipping method selected at checkout. Products requiring assembly includes this graphic and a warning message at the end of product description.
Paying for a faster delivery method (e.g. Express mail, Priority mail etc.) for products requiring "assembly" does not speed up assembly (build) time; however, it does speed up delivery time.
Delivery time for in stock products requiring assembly= Assembly time (2-4 working days) + transit time (your shipping method).
Example: Order our very popular Jaguar Bluetooth A2D-JAG98 module and choose "USPS Priority Mail (2-4 days) nationwide delivery time. Expect delivery between 5-7 business days after order placement.

Off the shelf items not requiring assembly or customization (off-the-shelf), usually ship within 24-hours and includes this graphic.
Tracking information is emailed upon labeling. Customers accounts are also updated at the same time. All customers (with or without accounts) are able to check order status online and display the same details available to our staff.
Except for Priority Mail Express® (Overnight Delivery*), USPS delivery times for Priority Mail® and First-Class Mail® are estimates and are not guaranteed; however these are delivered to most states after 2-7 working days.
International orders require additional paperwork and processing time (3-4 days) prior to shipping.

Customer billing information (first name, last name, billing address, and credit card information) must be entered exactly as it appears on credit card statement otherwise transaction will decline. Once order is placed a pending authorization (not a charge) will appear on your account and removed within 7-10 business days or once authorization has been charged and order shipped.
