Easily connect and play portable audio devices to factory system in select 1995-05 GM vehicles with fully functional remote multi-disc CD changer.

Any 1995-05 GM listed in drop-down above with original radio and multi-disc (6 or 12) CD changer* can benefit from this cable. That's right! This audio cable allows playback from portable audio devices while retaining use of the required multi-disc CD changer. As an alternate purchase our A2D-C5 or BLU-GM1 music streaming module. Vehicles without remote multi-disc changer, or if multi-disc changer malfunctions; purchase our DCS-GM2 or BLU-C5 music streaming adapter. The AUX-GM2 cable connects to 10-pin plug at the multi-disc CD changer in trunk, hatch or center console, route 1/8" (3.5mm) jack to dash area where it can be custom installed and secured to dashboard. Once everything is installed, simply plug in audio device (e.g. Smartphone, iPod, MP3 etc.) and enjoy the best possible sound on the car speakers. When in the mood for CD's (changer), simply unplug audio cable from jack -- its that simple. The AUX-GM2 is the adapter needed to play portable audio devices without replacing factory radio or multi-disc changer. (Keeps everything stock)

1. Works in 1995-05 GM vehicles with a fully functioning 6 or 12-disc CD changer in trunk/hatch center armrest etc. Works only in vehicles with GM multi-disc CD changer.
 2. The multi-disc changer must be fully functional, otherwise the AUX-GM2 will NOT work as described. Purchase our DCS-GM2 or BLU-C5 instead.
3. At least one "Disc" must remain in CD changer magazine
4. Connects to 10-pin plug at multi-disc CD changer location. (Does not connect at the radio.)
5. GM FM modulated multi-disc changers (e.g. model 1624298, 16213704), Alpine and other aftermarket changer are NOT compatible
6. We recommend the 4 ft. cable for changer in center console/armrest and 12 ft. cable for changer in trunk/hatch. Select option in drop-down.

Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value.     I ended up Chatting with Austin this morning about my order. Specifically when would the order ship. Austin provided that information quickly. here is where he went above and beyond... He noticed I ordered the 4ft cable and had the thoughtfulness to ask where I would be installing the unit, trunk or console. After I described our installation he understood. My point is that very rarely will an online support person go the extra mile and ask an application question. Mostly get, here is what you ordered and away you go... Austin is doing it right.     I have wanted to do this for years but did not want to cut or splice into the factory wires (as recommended on the forums) and was delighted when i found the youtube video in which Dave demonstrated how easy it was to install your cable. Needless to say i purchased mine on April 28, received it on May 2nd and installed the same day and it has been working great ever since. I thought i would come back and say thank you for the service and great product.

    I did not want to change the radio in my C5 but did want to play tunes from my phone. I like the idea behind this cable because i was able to keep the changer and also play my phone. I had it installed by a local shop here in FL in late March and i'm happy.
